As well as the scene's output, the Drawing Window can also show borders for certain nodes (see below). The borders are a bounding box of the node's output - i.e. a box just large enough to enclose all output from the node. As well as the borders, you can display a tag giving the node's name:
To control whether or not the borders and tags are shown, use the Image Borders and Image Tags popup menus.
These are the nodes for which borders appear:
If any tags overlap, you can Ctrl-drag them to a new position (i.e. hold down the Ctrl key, and then use the mouse to drag the tag to a new position.). You cannot drag the tag away from the border to which it belongs.
